Smallville -- The Legion

Smallville has been getting better for years. They have gotten over the freak of the week problem and this year Lana Lang has taken a smaller part which certainly helps and having Doomsday was fun.
Having The Legion show up was even better though. The show has always had great subtle references. They have had Krypto, Kara, flash, Aquaman, Green Arrow, and about a thousand references to things that haven't happened yet.
The Legion notched that up. With the Legion they are no longer subtle referances. The Legion knows he will become Superman. They start by asking him where the cape is, comment on the lack of glasses, even flight.
Even better though is that in this episode they used one of the things that hardcore fans of D.C. have always said. The Legion has no record of Chloe and they suggest that she may have to die for him to become Superman. This is of course great because Chloe isn't in the comic books.
Smallville may be nearing its end, but it's still getting better. I'm just ready for Bruce Wane to be introduced.
If you're a fan of D.C. and not watching Smallville you're missing out.
